About us
Chania Translation Centre was established in 2004 to meet the translation needs in the city of Chania and wider Greece. The agency provides official and certified translations in almost all language combinations and many different areas of expertise.
Our translations are accepted by public services and private entities both in Greece and abroad.
The agency is run by Mrs. Anna Verganelaki, official translator, graduate of the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpretation of the Ionian University, Corfu, Greece. Mrs. Verganelaki has also attended one semester of the MA in Applied Translation Studies at the University of East Anglia, Norwich. She is a founding member of the Panhellenic Association of Professional Translators, Graduates of the Ionian University ( PEEMPIP in Greek), which is a member-association of the international professional associations FIT (Fédération Internationale des Traducteurs) and EULITA (European Legal Interpreters and Translators' Association).
